My relationship with jazz began when I was in junior high school, when my uncle worked for a record company and gave me a lot of jazz records whenever we met. Among the many records he gave me, I was struck by the Ruby My Dear and Jerking from the best of Thelonious Monk, and I fell into the jazz swamp.
My illustrations have not yet taken a definite direction. In other words, I am exploring various directions. However, I would like to find new directions in my life related to jazz. Right now I do all my work in Adobe Photoshop and Wacom board tabs. This has its advantages and disadvantages compared to hand-drawing, but for the time being, I will continue to work with this method.
I am an unemployed male born in 1953. I have a disgusting amount of time. I don't make money but I spend it moderately. I am against war and discrimination. I am interested in design and admire beautiful things in all aspects of life.
